We have visited this shop three times, and every time we have entered, we have been made to feel unwelcome and have been met with rudeness by whomever is behind the counter. We have spotted one smiling individual- a young woman with dark curly hair who seemed very pleasant, but that is where the pleasantness ends.

Sorry to see that a number of people had a bad experience here. I went in today and was served by a very friendly and knowledgable older guy!

You can also return the books you purchase for credit.

I've been bringing in a bag load of books to exchange and depending on book quality, how many copies they have, how old the book is, and how popular it is, they may take them off my hands for between $2-$5 each. I usually take in around 10-20 books and get around $15- $30 credit. You can use that credit to purchase books, however you have to pay 25% of your total purchase cost in cash/card. So your credit can only be used for up to 75% per purchase.

I'm sure this is a great business and will continue to be, the deals are great, and the ethic of store credit by swapping books is a great idea. But the customer service was terrible.

This place DOES NOT buy books but will give you a pitiful credit to use in store. DO NOT bother. If I hadn't been in such a hurry moving house I would have taken them home to burn instead.

When we first came across Pulp Fiction we were overjoyed. My partner and I dived into the shop, glad to find a business dedicated to selling second hand books. We are a huge supporter of this, and were happy to buy a book from here rather than from online.

We left the shop today feeling down and depressed at the attitude of the members of staff who made us feel like we were not only unwelcome, beneath them and a bother to them.

Customer service can be spotty depending on who is working. I've had both positive and negative experiences. The range of books is ok but i find it quite expensive for secondhand. I feel like if they weren't the only remaining book exchange in the northern suburbs (I'm including their other stores) they wouldnt be able to charge as much. But I'm sure paying rent in the shopping centre costs a bucket load.

Manners cost nothing. Pleasantness costs little effort.

Always enjoy browsing this second hand book store. Great range, good prices and well organised.
